INVITATION TO PICNIC
Dear Members:
The Society of Kastorians “OMONOIA” is delighted to announce that our Annual Picnic will take place on Sunday, June 22nd, 2008, at Field #3, Heckscher State Park, East Islip, New York.
We would like to invite all Members and their families to come out and have a great time, rain or shine. Our Annual Picnic represents an event where Kastorians of all ages can reunite, bond, enjoy the day, play ball, cards, tavli, just relax, walk through the park, lounge in the sun (preferably) and have a good time.
There will be plenty of food, drinks, activities and sporting events planned by the Picnic Committee for all ages!
The event starts at about 10:30 a.m. and will last into the evening. In the event of adverse weather the park area has a covered pavilion with ample seating.
Please, invite any Kastorian you know who may not yet be a member of our Association to this and future events in order to enhance our membership drive.
Heckscher State Park is the same State Park our Picnic has been held for the past several years. Directions are attached.
